Four actors shooting a war film in a foreign country are forced to step up and become real heroes when they find themselves stuck in an actual real, live war. The motley band is led by Speedman (Ben Stiller), an actor who's a little too into his part, and includes Jeff "Fats" Portnoy (Jack Black), an out-of-shape comedian, Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), a four-time Oscar winner, and Kevin Sandusky (Jay Baruchel), an up-and-coming star.
